Istio is an open platform that provides a consistent way to connect, secure, control, and observe microservices across your service mesh. Since the launch of Istio v1.1 and v1.2, we have seen more users adopt Istio and raise issues in various channels such as mailing list, user community meeting, github, and real time chats. This talk will give an update of Istio latest releases, and demo some of the Istio key capabilities along with some of the future directions of the project.
