Spring 2017 Events – Come out and say hello!

As we work hard to prepare for the 5th annual All Things Open in October, we’re also taking time to attend and support other community events around the southeast and the U.S. this spring.

We encourage everyone to join us if your schedule permits, and be sure to stop by and say hello! We’ll have shirts and other cool swag to give away, as well as good conversation.

Just a few of the events you can find us at include:

March 2-5 – 15th Annual Southern California Linux Expo – Pasadena, CA

SCALE is one of the largest Linux and Open Source conferences in the United States and regularly hosts more than 3,000 attendees from all over the world. We’ll be attending, providing support, as well as working an exhibit table. Be sure to stop by table #715 and see us.

March 21 – NCRIoT Home Automation meetup – Atlanta, GA

We’ll head to Georgia’a capital city to join NCRIoT, the largest IoT meetup group in the United States, as they discuss and unravel the topic of home automation with world-class lightning talks and networking. We’ll have an exhibit table and will be available to meet and talk.

March 28 – Open Source South Carolina user group meeting – Columbia, SC

We host this meetup group in downtown Columbia starting at 6:00 pm ET and it’s always a big crowd. The March meeting will feature three important topics – An introduction to Git & GitHub, Contributing to Open Source, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Best of all, all content will be delivered by GitHub.

May 6 & 7 – Community Leadership Summit – Austin, TX

This is Jono Bacon’s event where community leaders, organizers and managers and the projects and organizations that are interested in growing and empowering a strong open source community gather. We’ll be speaking at this conference on Saturday, May 6 and will be attending sessions on both days. The content is excellent and attendees represent a broad cross section of the open source community.

May 16 – NCRIoT and the Industrial Internet of Things – Charlotte, NC

We’ll join NCRIoT in Charlotte as they explore the Industrial Internet of Things. We’ll have a table and swag, and we’ll be available to meet new friends.

Early June – 2017 Online Registration Opens + One Week Special – Your email inbox

Ok, ok…this is not an in-person “event” in the traditional sense of the word but it will be huge! We’ll kick-off 2017 registration in early June via email with our annual One-Week Special. The One-Week Special will offer tickets for both days of the conference for just $99 USD, which includes all programming, lunch and networking opportunities. This is a tremendous value and we encourage anyone interested to take advantage of it.
