Leila Alderman

Spreedly

Leila is a software engineer at Spreedly and an organizer of Code for Durham. She is a community moderator, maintainer, and top contributor to the free, open-source web development curriculum The Odin Project, which is how she taught herself to code. In addition, Leila is the project manager for the NC Clear Path civic tech team, which won first place at both Civic Camp and Datapalooza last year; the project uses open-source mapping to provide safe and accessible pedestrian trip routing for people with disabilities. Leila is also passionate about tasty vegan food, personal finance, and her pet bunny, Yuki.
