John Crawford is the Co-Founder and CTO of ndustrial.io, a Raleigh-based company that helps industrial organizations become more operationally efficient through the use of our nSight and ContxtOS software products. John has contributed to open source projects such as Apache Heron more recently. He has specialized in real-time, parallel processing frameworks as well as a microservice-based approach to solving challenges around industrial customization.

John’s experience has spanned both public and private sectors across national security and technology startups. John has previously worked for Northrup Grumman and the National Security Agency in Washington, DC. He was also the Co-Founder and CEO of Granular systems where he led the development of a low-cost, wireless energy monitoring hardware unit and software management layer.
