Heikki is the CTO of Aiven, a managed cloud services company offering the best Open Source database and messaging solutions to businesses around the world.

Heikki has a keen interest in developer and engineering productivity using Open Source, cloud platform and DevOps. He has experience and interest in building scalable, highly available stateful systems. Heikki is particularly familiar with Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra and PostgreSQL.

Heikki runs a local Apache Kafka community meetup and regularly speaks at events on data management using Open Source components.
