DeeDee Lavinder currently works as a Backend Engineer and is a Director with Women Who Code Raleigh/Durham. The juxtaposition of analytical thinking and creative problem solving is where she is happiest and is particularly thrilled about working in that sweet spot while writing code. Previously, she led the life of an entrepreneur and small business owner. When not coding, you can find her listening to audiobooks, driving small people around town, or coordinating something somewhere.
