Christopher Waldon
IBM
Chris got his start as a full-stack web developer doing LAMP, then worked for IBM during two different internships where he discovered his passions for distributed systems (IPFS, blockchain), Linux, Golang, and great tools. After finishing a master’s degree, he spent a semester teaching introductory computer science at Appalachian State University in North Carolina before transitioning to his current role. He now works at IBM where he is an SRE for the critical tooling that accelerates IBM’s developer population (GitHub Enterprise, TravisCI Enterprise, and others). During his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his cats, playing board games, and reading Sci-fi/Fantasy novels.
