Bobbie Cochrane

Bobbie Cochrane is an IBM Distinguisehd Engineer who leads Blockchain Engagement and Platform Architecture across IBM. Author to over 20 publications and 31 patents, she holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Maryland, College Park.

She has over 25 years of experience rapidly maturing and delivering database innovations to the field, ranging from the definition and delivery of database semantics for IBM’s first distributed DBMS to leading the delivery and operations for IBM’s Cloud Data Services.

She has held roles as principal investigator, senior technical staff member, 2nd line manager, and has worked across a variety of IBM’s analytics portfolio.
