Round Two Speakers Announced: A Great Lineup Gets Even Better!
It’s been two weeks since our official 2015 launch and we’d like to keep the momentum going by announcing our second round of speakers. They are world-class and represent a variety of specialization areas along the ‘open’ continuum.
Brandon Philips – Co–founder and CTO of CoreOS. Brandon is helping to build modern Linux server infrastructure at CoreOS.
Carina Zona – Founder of @CallbackWomen. She has been an organizer & instructor for many of the women in tech organizations as well as a keynote speaker.
Jason Hibbets – Senior Community Evangelist at Red Hat and Opensource.com. He’s one of the most recognizable people in the open space, Jason leads OpenSource.com and continues to speak all over the world.
Hampton Catlin – Co-founder and CEO of Wordset. He is the inventor of Sass, Haml, and m.wikipedia.org and author of “The Pragmatic Guide to Sass.” He was the former mobile lead at the Wikimedia Foundation and CTO of Moovweb.
Shaw Howe – Director of Product at Belly. Shay is a writer and frequent speaker, as well as conference organizer in the Chicago area.
Cynthia Savard Saucier – Lead UX at Shopify. Cynthia creates smart, emotional connections between companies and users and speaks about it around the world.
Greg Bruno – Co–founder & VP of Engineering at StackIQ Inc. Greg is a thought leader in server automaton and cluster management.
Slava Akhmechet – Founder of RethinkDB. A regular blogger, conference and keynote speaker. He’s an expert on technology, databases, and startups.
Rikki Endsley – Community Manager at OpenSource.com. Rikki is a frequent speaker nationally and a recognized community leader. She’s served as a journalist, publisher, and a managing editor.
David Stokes – MySQL Community Manager at Oracle. David continues to lead the community for the world’s most popular open source database.
Bradley Kuhn – President & Distinguished Technologist at Software Freedom Conservancy. One of the world’s foremost experts on topics such as the GPL. Frequent keynote speaker and author.
Mark Voelker – OpenStack Architect at VMWare. Mark is a recognized leader in the OpenStack community and co-founded the Triangle OpenStack Meetup group. He’s a long-time contributor to open source.
