Lightning Talks to Again be Hosted by Opensource.com

Lightning Talks, hosted by the team at Opensource.com, will once again take place on the main stage in Ballroom B (4th floor) on Tuesday afternoon, October 23. This will be the 6th year Lightning Talks have taken place and they’ve become a staple.
Speakers will have 5 minutes to enlighten the audience about an open source topic of choice and one they are passionate about. Topics this year will range from containers to AI and Istio to blockchain and Raspberry Pi.
The 2018 speaker lineup includes:
- 6 years of Raspberry Pi by Ben Nuttall
- Blockchain database for a cyber security learning enviroment by Sophia Armstrong
- How to jump start a career in open source by Eric D Schabell
- Erase unconscious bias from your AI datasets by Lauren Maffeo

- 5 things you didn’t know about Istio by Lin Sun
- sed ‘s/docker/containers/g’ by Chris Collins
