GitHub Sponsoring Underrepresented Scholarships
GitHub’s relationship with the team at All Things Open goes back more than a decade, and if we’ve learned one thing about the company it is this – they truly care about diversity and inclusion, and even more, creating opportunity for others.
Never has that been more evident than this year.
GitHub is the proud sponsor of our underrepresented scholarships, and we couldn’t be more appreciative.
What does that mean? In short it means many, many individuals that would not otherwise be able to attend the event now can. And they can take advantage of the many educational and networking opportunities we work so hard to make available.
Just a few of the organizations sending members because of GitHub include:
- RDU Girl Develop It
- RDU Women Who Code
- PyLadies RDU
- ChickTech RDU
- Women Who Code ATL
- NC Women in Machine Learning
If you walk by the GitHub booth at the conference take just a minute to give Cynthia Rich and her team a high-five. They deserve it.
