Come see us! Spring 2019 event schedule
We consistently travel to events around the country for two reasons – to stay current on the latest trends, speakers and conference best practices, and to support events we feel are doing great work.
Our travels this late winter/spring/early summer will once again take us all over the U.S. We encourage everyone in our community to come out and join us.
Just a few of the events we’ll be attending, supporting and hosting include:
Friday, March 1
Global Diversity CFP Day – Raleigh, NC – Attending / Assisting / Volunteering
An event to help underrepresented folks in tech get on stage more, and we’re really happy to see it come to the Triangle. We’ll be attending and volunteering, and generally helping out as much as possible.
Tuesday, March 5
ATO RTP meetup, The Frontier, RTP NC – Hosting
This is the meetup we host in the Triangle. Topics will include Open Source Cloud Tools and What Happens When Open Source Goes Wrong. Attendance is always strong and enthusiastic. Food and beverages are always served. A free event.
Wednesday, March 6
Open Source South Carolina meetup, Columbia, SC – Hosting
If you’re in the Midlands of SC region we encourage you to join us for this statewide meetup. The topic will be an extended “Building Interactive Web Apps in 2019” presentation, so it should be excellent. Food and beverages will be served. A free event.
March 7-10
SCaLE 2019, Pasadena, CA – Sponsoring
The Southern California Linux Expo is one of the best events we travel to each year. Organized by a dedicated group of volunteers the content and speakers are first-rate and never disappoint. This will be the 17th year of the event and we’ll proudly be sponsoring. Stop by booth #705 and see us!
April 18
Open Source 101, Columbia, SC – Hosting
This is a one-day open source/tech/web processes and tools conference featuring world-class speakers from all over the U.S. It will be the fourth 101 event we’ve hosted – 500+ attendees are expected. June 5-7
Refactr.tech, Atlanta, GA – Attending / supporting
This is a fantastic annual event focused on growing and showcasing powerful voices of marginalized people and allies in tech.
