Alex Williams of The New Stack to Emcee All Things Open 2017

The team at All Things Open is proud to announce Alex Williams of The New Stack will emcee the 2017 conference.

From the beginning of the search process we wanted an engaging veteran technology journalist with a deep understanding of open source and the overall technology landscape, and we believe we found it in Alex. We are very appreciative he agreed to work with us.

Mr. Williams is the founder and editor in chief of The New Stack. He’s a longtime technology journalist who did stints at TechCrunch, SiliconAngle, and what is now known as ReadWrite. He’s been a journalist since the late 1980s.

In his role as emcee he’ll introduce keynote speakers and oversee the Start-Up Pitch Competition, as well as emcee Featured Sessions on the Main Stage (Ballroom B) over both days.
