2018 Socials – Fun & Numerous Networking Opportunities
The focus of All Things Open remains the sessions taking place during each day of the conference. The importance of education can’t be over emphasized and we feel our topics and speakers are some of the best in the world.
However, meeting new people and even having a little fun after a long conference day are also extremely important. The relationships you form and people you meet can help you long after the conference ends.
It is with this in mind that we’ve worked very hard to schedule socials and after-hour events this year appealing to a wide variety of people and interests, and ones taking place in a variety of settings and environments.
Plan now to attend one of the many events taking place during ATO 2018:
Sunday, October 21
-
Inclusion in Open Source & Technology – 2:00 – 5:30 pm ET, Raleigh Convention Center
We encourage you to start the conference off right by attending this FREE event. Stick around and make new friends at the post-event social being sponsored and made possible by the team at GitHub.
-
The “Official” 2018 Welcome Social – 6:00 pm ET, the Rye Bar inside the lobby of The Marriott City Center
Sponsored and made possible by the team at GitHub
All attendees are encouraged to stop by the Welcome Social after checking in early and attending the Inclusion in Open Source event at the Convention Center. The Rye bar is located in the lobby of the Marriott City Center and we have the place to ourselves. We have reserved the entire space just for our attendees and partners.

Vue.js: The All Things Open edition meetup – 6:00 pm ET @ Pendo headquarters – 150 Fayetteville Street, 4th floor
Four incredible speakers, three of which will be speaking at All Things Open earlier in the day, will take the stage at this evening meetup. Pizza and drinks will be served. If you don’t get enough tech at ATO, this is a great way to end the day.
