2015 All Things Open Schedule Released, Version 1.0

With little less than three (3) months to go before All Things Open 2015, we’re extremely pleased to release Version 1.0 of the schedule.

While not complete in any way (later versions will be released), it should provide helpful guidance for those wanting to better understand what will be offered and when. Our goal is to give you enough information to register, or at least go to a decision maker and make your case to (along with our Why Attend page).

Two Days

The conference will again be two days, which we feel is just enough time to learn and network while not being away from work for too long. In addition, it will take place on a Monday and Tuesday in 2015, instead of mid-week as in years past, and we think this will result in more people attending from all over the U.S. and the world. The end result will be more variety and an opportunity to meet and listen to others you never otherwise would have the opportunity to meet and listen to.

125 Sessions

You read that right. Approximately 125 sessions will be offered over the two days and will cover much of the ‘open’ landscape. Our goal from the beginning has been to deliver incredible value to attendees and plenty of variety. We think this schedule accomplishes both, but if you disagree, drop us a line and suggest what we can do to make it even better.

120+ Speakers

Even though more speaker announcements are on the way, this year’s lineup has surpassed even our own expectations. We’re huge fans of many of those speaking, and we couldn’t be happier to host them or more appreciative of their time.

13 Tracks Monday, 12 Tracks Tuesday

In case you haven’t noticed, we believe in over-delivering when it comes to world-class content. Over the course of Monday and Tuesday, 25 tracks will be offered. We’re covering most major technologies and issues being used and/or discussed today. We won’t cover every single one, as that is impossible, but we’ll sure give it our best try.

10-12 Keynote Type Plenary Sessions

We’ll address a good number of the big issues with plenary keynote sessions. These will range in length from 10-25 minutes and will feature some of the most interesting people in open source.

Amazing Socials

We firmly believe networking is just as important as excellent content. As good as our socials were in 2013 and 2014, this year will be even better. We’ll announce these in the very near future but suffice it to say for now, a good time will be had by all.
