Growing up in a small town with two hundred chickens for every person, you learn quickly that human interaction is a precious thing. Even as I kid, I took every chance I could to meet someone new, talk to whomever would listen, and tried to learn a thing or two along the way.

Now, as a pseudo-grownup, my passion for engaging with others has mixed with a desire to make things. That power combo has manifested in a career in digital product design, a dedication to user research and experience, and a sizable group of friends and family who wish I would stop talking about color theory so much.
